Annemarie Tulleken

Annemarie was born October 29, 1941 en was married to Cees Tulleken who became professor and chairman of the departmnet of Neurosurgery at the University Medical Center, The Netherlands.

On January 22, 1999 Annemarie passed away due to cancer. Her endless optimism perseverance and fighting spirit against her disease inspired close friends and family to create a foundation in memorandum of Annemarie. It has been her wish to support the meaningful scientific work of the UMC Utrecht. Thanks to these efforts an new operating technique has evolved that to date helped hundreds of patients in several counries and continents.
